HONGCHEON, South Korea ​– As the‍ FIBA 3×3 Hongcheon Challenger 2025 approaches, Hongcheon County has solidified its partnerships with Poland ⁤and the Czech Republic to foster international cooperation in the ⁢sport. A ⁣business agreement was formalized with representatives from both⁢ nations on March 30.

The agreement ​ceremonies,held ⁤in ​Poland and the Czech Republic,were attended by key figures including Fiotrenkeel,coach of the Poland 3×3 national​ team and founder of Academia 3×3; Ya-쿱⁢ Bidner,3×3 Basketball coordinator for the⁣ Czech Basketball Association; and ⁤Michael,Secretary General of the Czech Basketball Association. Park Jong-soo, head of the sports promotion team for Hongcheon County Education ⁣and Sports Division, ‌and Song ‍Tae-hoon, ⁣practical ⁤director of the Korea 3×3 Basketball federation (KXO), also participated.

Through this agreement,⁤ the ⁣Czech 3×3 basketball team has confirmed its participation in the FIBA 3×3 Hongcheon Challenger 2025 and the FIBA⁤ 3×3 Hongcheon Light Quest 2025.​ This lays the groundwork for expanded exchanges with ⁢Eastern ⁣European and other‌ international 3×3 basketball teams.

Officials ‍also hope the strengthened international ‍ties will bolster the feasibility⁤ of the‌ proposed⁤ Yongmun-Hongcheon Metropolitan Railroad.
