Kota Ibushi Shocks AEW Collision, Joins Don Callis’ faction
A surprise appearance on Saturday’s AEW Collision saw Japanese wrestling star Kota ibushi return to all Elite Wrestling after more than a year away. The appearance signaled a new alliance for Ibushi, as he joined the Don Callis Family.
The events unfolded during an in-ring segment featuring AEW Continental champion Kazuchika Okada, Lance Archer, Josh Alexander, and Don Callis. Callis disparaged Kenny Omega,suggesting Omega would be alone if he made it to All In. Callis then declared Ibushi the newest member of his stable.
Mark Briscoe entered the scene to defend Omega, asserting that Omega had friends. Ibushi then appeared, confronting Josh Alexander while Briscoe battled Archer. A face-off between Ibushi and Okada ensued, with Ibushi ultimately driving Okada from the ring.
