KPK Releases Photos of 5 Fugitives Wanted in Corruption Cases
Jakarta, USA – The Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has released photos of five individuals wanted in connection with various corruption cases. The proclamation was made on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, during a press conference highlighting the KPK’s performance from 2019 to 2024.
“we are actively pursuing one fugitive from 2017 and four others from cases between 2020 and 2024,” stated Alexander Marwata, Deputy Chairman of the KPK.
Among the fugitives are Emilya Said and Hermansyah, a married couple accused of forgery related to a dispute over inheritance rights at PT Aria Citra Mulia. They were declared fugitives in 2022.
“Both Emilya Said and Hermansyah are connected to the case involving Bambang Kayu, who is already a suspect. That’s why we issued arrest warrants for them,” explained marwata.
Another prominent fugitive is harun Masiku, a former member of the indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) implicated in a bribery case related to the appointment of members of the House of Representatives for the 2019-2024 term.
The KPK is also seeking Kirana Kotama, involved in a case concerning the procurement of ships at PT PAL, and Paulus Tannos, accused of corruption in the procurement of electronic identity cards (e-KTP).”The last fugitive is Paulus Tannos, who is wanted in connection with the e-KTP corruption case,” Marwata added.
The KPK urges anyone with details about the whereabouts of thes fugitives to come forward and assist in their apprehension.
