“Kpop Demon Hunters” Songwriters Win Golden Globe for “Golden”
The team behind “Golden,” the chart-topping hit from Kpop Demon Hunters–Ejae, Joong Gyu Kwak, Yu Han Lee, Hee Dong Nam, Jeong Hoon Seo, Park Hong Jun, adn Mark Sonnenblick-won Best Original Song at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday. They prevailed over a competitive field including Miley Cyrus, Mark Ronson, Andrew Wyatt, and Simon Franglen (“Dream as One” from Avatar: Fire and Ash); raphael Saadiq and Ludwig Göransson (“I Lied to You” from Sinners); Stephen Schwartz (“No Place Like Home” and “The Girl in the Bubble” from Wicked: For Good); and Nick Cave and Bryce Dessner (“Train Dreams” from Train Dreams). This marks the first Golden Globes nomination and win for all seven songwriters.
