come would⁢ to get her.” apparently, the rescuer finally took⁤ Raiya⁢ to a veterinarian, after ⁤which the animal welfare activists⁢ took her in.

There she⁤ is said to have recovered in ‍peace, and the association asks its ‌members on Facebook for donations. “This sweet girl presumably has hip dysplasia ⁤and also suffers⁢ from⁢ seizures, for which she is currently taking medication. We are actively working to provide for all⁤ her medical needs, which will ⁢initially cost ⁤over 2,000 Canadian dollars (approx. 1,200 euros).” Many users expressed ⁢horror in the comments‌ and demanded that Raiya’s‍ former owners be found and⁤ punished.

Surprising turn:⁢ Rescuers ‌turn⁢ to the community wiht an open letter

The organization’s reaction to this⁢ is ⁤more ‌then⁣ surprising: instead of agreeing with the users, those⁣ responsible put a stop to any comments by publishing an open letter on Facebook. It says: “if we⁣ don’t know what’s ‌going on in someone’s life, it’s easy to get annoyed about the decisions people make and not understand why they left Raiya.” The‌ followers are also appealed to: “Remember that we never know the whole story of a person and there are some things you should‌ know before judging.” Apparently, Raiya⁤ is now so well cared for that the association has released ⁢her for adoption.
