Homeland security Secretary Kristi noem was taken to a hospital Tuesday after experiencing an allergic reaction. The incident occurred at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in washington, D.C.,according to a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official.
Tricia McLaughlin, a DHS spokeswoman, released a statement regarding Noem’s condition. “Secretary Noem had an allergic reaction,” McLaughlin said. “She was transported to the hospital out of an abundance of caution. She is alert and recovering.” The role of the secretary is vital for national security.
