Vayupak Mutual Fund 1 Sees High Demand from Investors
Last 16-20 September, Vayupak Mutual Fund 1 (VAYU1) opened for subscription for type A investment units, with a maximum fundraising value of 150 billion baht. The results show that there is a demand from all types of investors that exceeds the maximum withdrawal value.
Chawinda Hanratanakul, Managing Director of Krungthai Asset Management Company, the management company of VAYU1, revealed that the opening for subscription of type A investment units has received a good response from small investors and has received a lot of attention from institutional investors.
The total demand value exceeds the maximum fundraising value of 150 billion baht, reflecting confidence in the fund. By establishing a mechanism to protect investments and earnings, including mechanisms for fund risk management, VAYU1 is an investment choice for investors who generate good returns in the long term.
The final number of investment units offered for sale was set at 15 billion units, with an offer price of 10 baht per unit.
Thanachot Rungsitthiwat, Managing Director of MFC Asset Management Co, Ltd., as Vayupak Mutual Fund Management Company, stated that retail investors who subscribe to Type A investment units allocated using the Small Lot First method can check the results of the unit allocation starting on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 9:00 am on the SETTRADE website.
Institutional investors will start subscribing on September 25-27, 2024, and the fund’s Type A investment units are expected to be traded on the Stock Exchange of Thailand within the 2nd week of October 2024, using the name VAYU1 in securities trading.
Investors can buy and sell type A investment units through the stock exchange, available every business day. The price of investment units in the secondary market will be in accordance with the market price mechanism.
