The Formula 1 community has widely celebrated Robert Kubica’s recent victory ⁤at the Le Mans 24 Hours.Kubica co-piloted the ⁤No. 83 Ferrari Hypercar to victory alongside Phil Hanson and Yifei Ye.

The win marks a notable achievement ‌for Kubica, whose career faced major setbacks after a near-fatal rallying accident in 2011 cut short his Formula 1 career in the late 2000s. He had ‌three seperate stints in F1.

After transitioning thru various racing⁣ series, kubica found a home in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) in the ‍2020s, making‌ his Le Mans debut in 2021.

In 2021, Kubica, along with Yifei Ye and Louis‌ Deletraz, were on track to win the LMP2 class, ⁣but a throttle sensor issue forced their retirement on the final lap.

“He had a chaotic career in ⁣motorsports, and ‌when you see the level of effort that he put into his career, I’m very, very pleased for him ‌to have ‌this ‍kind ‌of present today.”

Kubica’s other achievements include securing the 2013 WRC2 title, the European Le Mans series‌ LMP2 title in⁣ both 2021 and 2024, ⁤and WEC LMP2 honors in 2023.
