Kuwait Amir’s Cup concludes
Under the patronage of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the final match of the His Highness the Amir’s Cup for the 2024-2025 sports season took place at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium. The Kuwait Club team secured the title for the 17th time in its history, defeating Al-Arabi Sports Club with a score of 2-0.
Yemen Prisoner Exchange Agreement Reached
The Yemeni government announced an “almost complete” agreement with the Houthi militia too release a total of 2,900 prisoners and detainees from both sides. This agreement was reached during the tenth round of negotiations held over 12 days in Muscat, Oman, with UN envoy to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, in attendance.

Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba mourned the loss of his government’s Chief of General Staff,Mohammed Al-Haddad,and his companions following a plane crash in Ankara,Türkiye. The crash occurred after Al-Haddad’s visit to Türkiye.
