Kurea Inoue Reflects on STU48 9th Anniversary Concert Performances

STU48 recently celebrated its ninth anniversary with a series of performances held at Ueno Gakuen Hall in Hiroshima. The festivities included a multi-part concert event and specialized solo and group showcases designed to bridge the group’s history with its future membership.

The 9th Anniversary Concert Schedule

The primary anniversary event took place on April 5, 2026, at Ueno Gakuen Hall. The celebration was structured into two distinct segments to mark the milestone.

• THE 48 SHOW 〜Path〜, which commenced at 12:00 JST.
• THE STU SHOW 〜Horizon〜, which began at 18:00 JST.

The second part of the event, THE STU SHOW 〜Horizon〜, featured a setlist that included tracks such as KO・BU・SHI Spirit!, Bokutachi wa Sindbad da, Mubou na Yume wa Sameru Koto ga Nai, Sunglasses Days and Umi no Iro wo Shitteiru ka?

Additional April Performances

The anniversary celebrations extended across several days in early April 2026 with additional themed concerts at Ueno Gakuen Hall.

On April 3, 2026, the group performed 花は誰のもの？ (Hana wa Dare no Mono?) with THE STU BAND. The performing members for this date included Yura Ikeda, Chiho Ishida, Rion Utsumi, Azumi Okada, Rio Okamura, Serika Ozaki, Riko Kudo, Yuuka Kurushima, Himeka Sako, Sora Shinano, Sayaka Takao, Mai Nakamura, Hibiki Hamada, Akari Fukuda, Noa Shokatsu, and Ayara Yoshida.

April 4, 2026, featured two separate events. The first part of the day was dedicated to Mai Nakamura’s solo concert, titled My Story, which opened at 12:00. The second part of the day consisted of the STU48 Fresh Concert〜Connect〜 Produced by Mai Nakamura, which began at 18:00.

Group Expansion and Membership

STU48 enters its ninth year with a total of 48 members. This growth follows the addition of 18 new members from the 4th generation trainees during the summer. Among the new additions is Kurea Inoue, who debuted in July 2025.

Kurea Inoue confirmed her participation in the anniversary festivities, noting her appearances in the Fresh Concert as well as both the first and second parts of the 9th anniversary concert.

Digital Broadcast and Access

The anniversary events were made available to a wider audience via the STU48 CHANNEL, which provided exclusive live streaming of the performances. For the April 3 event, the stream began at 18:20, while the April 4 solo concert stream started at 11:50.

Viewing access for these streams was tiered by membership status, with tickets priced at 3,700pt for members and 5,000pt for non-members.
