Drone Attack in Kursk kills One, Injures Nine

Kursk, Russia – A drone attack ⁢struck kursk ⁣overnight, resulting ⁤in one fatality and nine injuries, according to ⁤the Kursk Oblast Administration.

Local operational⁢ headquarters reported that an⁤ 85-year-old woman died as a result of the attack. The injured sustained injuries ranging from shrapnel wounds to head trauma and burns, the administration said in a⁢ statement.

Apartment Buildings and Vehicles damaged

Authorities indicated that an apartment building suffered damage on its eighth and ninth floors, sparking a fire. Two additional apartment buildings also caught fire. The extent of the damage is still being assessed.

The emergency ⁣headquarters reported that three private properties were⁣ damaged in the ‍drone strikes. One strike targeted an emergency garage, damaging 11 vehicles.

Details of the Attack Unclear

While the full⁤ scope‍ of the attack remains unclear, Russian news ‍channels on ⁣Telegram reported hearing ‍more than 20 explosions in the city.
