Kuwait Airways Opens Regional Headquarters in Rome
Kuwait Airways has officially opened its regional headquarters in Rome, Italy, marking a significant step towards strengthening tourism and commercial cooperation between Kuwait and Italy.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by prominent figures, including Nasser Al-Qahtani, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Italy, and Sheikh Jaber Al-Duwaiz Al-Sabah, Consul General of the State of Kuwait in Milan. Also in attendance were officials from the Civil Aviation Authority, relevant ministries, and the Head of Regional Headquarters of Kuwait Airways, Ali Al-Khuraim.
Ambassador Al-Qahtani highlighted the strong Kuwaiti-Italian relations in various sectors, including aviation and transport. He noted that the two countries have enjoyed a spirit of “cooperation, friendship, and partnership” over the years, with the occasion coinciding with the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Kuwait and Italy.
The Ambassador praised Kuwait Airways’ role in supporting the partnership between the two countries by increasing tourism cooperation and trade exchanges in air cargo movement. He also acknowledged the airline’s efforts in building a bridge of communication between the people of Kuwait and Italy, wishing Kuwait Airways further progress and success.
The establishment of the regional headquarters in Rome is expected to boost tourism and commercial ties between Kuwait and Italy, with Kuwait Airways playing a vital role in facilitating travel and trade between the two nations.
