The Kuwait National Petroleum Company assumed local marketing responsibilities for petroleum products in 1961, taking over from the Kuwait Oil Company, Ltd.
Cultural and Artistic Initiatives: The National Kuwaiti Theater band was established in 1964 through the efforts of artist Mohammed Al-Nashmi, marking a significant step in Kuwait’s cultural development.
