Charli XCX’s ‘The Moment’ Arrives in Theaters Today
kylie Jenner showcased her toned physique at the premiere of Charli XCX’s new film, The Moment, on Thursday, January 29. The movie, a satirical look at the music industry, hits theaters nationwide on Friday, January 30.

The “Guess” singer previously teased the movie’s unique plot in an interview on the “Goop” podcast in November 2025.
“[This] was, sort of, based on an idea that I started,” Charli said at the time. “I suppose it’s [a] revisionist history of Brat. We like to call it a 2024 period piece, and it’s sort of about the death of cool [and] when something cool becomes commercial and then you lose control over actually what it is, and how it’s brought into the culture.”
“I wouldn’t quite call it a mockumentary, but it’s something in the world,” she explained. “It’s sort of like a music industry satire. I had so much fun. There’s also some really emotional and sad moments within it,and I think it’s about losing control over something that you worked so hard to attain.”
“I am really interested in marketing and how people communicate product,” Charli said. “I find it fascinating … how art combines with capitalism because it does. I find all of the combinations of those things really interesting. It’s funny as as a voyeur, I’m quite fascinated but when it’s your own work, that’s really personal, it does feel quite scary to see [brands] do their version.”
The film also stars Alexander Skarsgård, Rosanna Arquette, Isaac Cole powell, Kate Berlin, Rish Shah, Jamie Demetriou, Trew Mullen, Arielle Dombasle and Hailey Benton Gates.
The Moment is in theaters on Friday, January 30.
