The honor follows a standout period for the junior transfer, who has established herself as a primary offensive force for the Aggies. Stowers, who wears jersey number 37 and stands 5-11, previously played for Baylor before joining the Texas A&M program.
2025 Season Performance
During her redshirt-sophomore year in 2025, Stowers appeared in 32 matches and 110 sets. She concluded the season with 385 kills, a total that ranked second on the team and placed her 10th in the program’s record book for kills in a single season during the rally-scoring era.
Stowers was a critical component of the team’s postseason success, earning the title of NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player. She finished the tournament run with 92 kills and recorded her season-high of 25 kills in a match against Nebraska during the Elite Eight.
Beyond her offensive contributions, she recorded 248 digs over the course of the year, resulting in seven double-doubles. Her performance in conference play also led the SEC in a specific metric, according to team records.

A native of Denton, Texas, Stowers attended Guyer High School. She was ranked as the No. 1 player out of Texas by PrepDig.com and played club volleyball for Texas Advantage Volleyball under coach Jonny Nasgowitz.
Her high school career was marked by consistent production and team success, including:
- Amassing 1,330 kills and 92 aces.
- Being named the DFW Newcomer of the Year in 2019.
- Leading her team to be 2019 Regional Finalists and 2020 Regional Semi-Finalists.
- Winning District Championships in both 2021 and 2022.
