L.A.B. Golf Unveils OZ.1 and OZ.1i Putters: Features, Release Dates & Adam Scott Collaboration
L.A.B. Golf Introduces New OZ.1 and OZ.1i Putters
L.A.B. Golf has launched two new putter models: the OZ.1 and OZ.1i. The OZ.1i features a stainless steel insert, a first for L.A.B. Golf putters. The OZ.1i will be available in December, followed by the OZ.1 in January.
The design of the OZ putters draws inspiration from professional golfer Adam Scott. Scott teamed up with L.A.B. Golf to create these putters after switching to a L.A.B. long putter in 2023.
Sam Hahn, CEO of L.A.B. Golf, stated, “We’ve always challenged ourselves to develop putters that resonate with world-class golfers. Collaborating with Adam Scott provided invaluable insights into shape, feel, sound, and performance.”
Unique Features
The OZ putters have a distinctive head shape that stands apart from traditional designs. The inclusion of the stainless steel insert in the OZ.1i can give users more distance, while the OZ.1 offers a softer feel with its classic aluminum face. Both models share the same overall specifications.
For those who prefer different shaft options, either putter can be built with a vertical shaft lean, in addition to the standard two-degree lean. This new option allows golfers to use standard grips, which is a change from L.A.B. Golf’s typical designs.
Limited Edition Model
A limited-edition version of the OZ.1 is available, featuring a special green color and geometric design to commemorate Adam Scott’s successes on the PGA Tour. This version is priced at $1,750 and includes a custom headcover.
Release Schedule
- OZ.1i: Available December; MSRP $499 for stock models, $599 for custom.
- OZ.1: Available January; pricing forthcoming.
- Adam Scott Limited Edition OZ.1: Available now; priced at $1,750.
Conclusion
The new OZ putters from L.A.B. Golf blend innovative design with collaboration from a top golfer. As more details emerge about their performance and feel, these putters could be significant additions to any golfer’s bag. For more information, visit L.A.B. Golf.
