Thirty-six British swimmers, including 15 paralympic champions, will receive UK Sport funding for the 2025 season after a successful showing in Paris.The Aquatics GB Para-swimming World class program (WCP) provides athletes with financial assistance and access to sports science and medicine services.
Britain secured second place in the swimming medal table at the Paris games, winning 18 gold medals. Maisie summers-Newton, Stephen Clegg, Alice Tai, and Poppy Maskill, ParalympicsGB’s moast decorated athlete in Paris, are among those included in the programme. This funding aims to support their continued development and success in para-swimming.
