Congressional District 45: Rep. Michelle Steel has 50.04% (152,021 votes) while challenger Derek Tran has 49.96% (151,785 votes), a margin of just 236 votes. Steel serves a district that covers parts of both Orange County and Los Angeles County.
Compton City Council District 1: Incumbent Deidre Duhart leads with 50.23% (3,086 votes) against Jasper Jay Jackson with 49.77% (3,058 votes), separated by only 28 votes.
