SAN CRISTÓBAL DE LAS CASAS, Mexico (AP) — The National Academy of Medicine of Mexico has recognized Dr. Roberto Gómez Alfaro for his extensive work serving rural communities in Chiapas and providing aid to Guatemalan refugees during the 1980s.
