Despite the eventual scoreline, La Louvière, managed by⁣ Frederic ⁢Taquin, demonstrated strong resistance for the first half of the match. However, a pivotal moment occurred just before halftime with the ejection of Owen Field,⁤ substantially⁢ shifting the momentum in favor of Antwerp.

Antwerp⁢ Capitalizes on Man Advantage

Playing with a numerical‍ advantage, Antwerp broke⁣ the deadlock in the 59th minute through a penalty⁣ converted by Vincent Janssen. Marwan Al ‌Sahafi extended the lead just four minutes ‌later (63rd minute), and⁢ Christopher Scott further solidified Antwerp’s position with a goal in the ⁢72nd minute.
