La Salle Swimming Teams Shine at 2024 Queens Fall Frenzy
Location and Overview
The La Salle swimming teams performed well at the 2024 Queens Fall Frenzy, held in Charlotte, N.C. Both the men’s and women’s teams finished in sixth place, with scores of 640.5 and 754.5 points, respectively. Many new records were set during the competition.
Highlights from Days 1 and 2
- The first day featured only the 800-yard freestyle relays.
- On the second day, the women’s 200-yard freestyle relay team placed fourth. Team members: Emma Van Selm, Tori Fenn, Maren Schermerhorn, and Gabrysia Herbreder.
- Andrea Savoca tied for fourth in the men’s 200-yard IM with a time of 1:49.68.
- Felix Jedbratt earned third place in the men’s 50-yard freestyle with a time of 19.83.
- The women’s 400-yard medley relay team (Emma Van Selm, Gabrysia Herbreder, Tori Fenn, Carlota Ungo) finished fifth and set a new La Salle program record.

- Jedbratt won the men’s 100-yard freestyle with a time of 45.4, setting both a meet record and a new La Salle program record.
- Felicia Rogell came in fifth in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:21.93.
- Savoca won the men’s 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 52.79.
- Both the men’s and women’s teams placed third in the 200-yard medley relay.
- Jedbratt finished second in the 100-yard freestyle on the final day with a time of 43.18.
- Savoca won the 200-yard breaststroke, initially breaking the program record in the prelims and then improving it to 1:56.33 in the championship heat.
- In the women’s 200-yard butterfly, Camilla Frost and Felicia Rogell placed third and fifth, respectively, with times of 2:02.53 and 2:03.41.
