Marina Del Rey – 821 Dickson St.

Prepare to be dazzled by the Moses family’s spectacular display at 821 Dickson St. What began as a gesture of comfort nearly 20 years ago has blossomed into‍ a beloved annual tradition.

After Hurricane Katrina devastated Ocean Springs, Mississippi in 2005, Karen Moses⁢ welcomed her 15-year-old ⁣niece into her ⁢home. To lift her spirits, Moses decided to go all out with Halloween decorations. The festive display brought joy to everyone⁤ who saw it,and a‌ neighbor’s excited comment—”I can’t wait to see what you do for Christmas!”—inspired Moses to create an even bigger spectacle for december.

“And so it began,” she said.

Every year since, the Moses family has transformed ⁤their home into a magical wonderland, featuring⁤ twinkling lights, whimsical characters, and unique themes that change annually.

“We tried to do it a little different every year,” she said, adding, “we don’t have a name for⁤ it, but would love to come up with something cool and catchy!”

Amid twinkling stars, inflatable snowmen, and blinking string lights, there’s⁢ something uniquely serene about Tim Green’s‌ display ⁣on Cresta Drive in Beverlywood.

At 9127 ⁢Cresta ⁤Dr., rectangular, glowing lanterns hang gracefully from the trees like luminous ornaments, their‌ warm light contrasting beautifully with an enchanting wash ‌of purple‍ that ‌illuminates the house. Twinkling icicle lights add a touch of shimmering winter charm to⁤ the display.
