The crash occurred around 2 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Cleon Avenue and Saticoy Street, according to LAPD spokesperson Tony Im. The man was attempting to turn left from Cleon Avenue onto Saticoy Street when the collision took place.
The officers, responding to a domestic violence restraining order violation with sirens and lights activated, were traveling east on Saticoy Street when their patrol SUV collided with the man’s silver Honda sedan.The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the Sun Valley incident.
