Popular daytime talk show La Volta Buona, hosted by Caterina Balivo, will be preempted on Friday, December 20th to make way for Rai1’s annual Telethon marathon.
The beloved program, which has seen a recent surge in viewership, will return to its regular schedule on Monday, December 23rd. Balivo took to Instagram to announce the temporary hiatus, encouraging viewers to support the Telethon’s vital mission of funding research for genetic diseases.

While La Volta Buona will be off the air on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Rai1 will air a special edition titled La Volta Buona Special on St. Stephen’s day, featuring highlights from the season’s most memorable interviews. Regular programming will resume on December 27th.

CB: It’s definitely a juggling act! My days are packed with school runs, work commitments, and family time.My husband Guido is a splendid partner, and we share the responsibilities. I also try to carve out some time for myself, whether it’s reading, watching a series, or simply taking a few moments to pray.
ND3: What’s one thing you’ve learned about yourself through this journey?
CB: I’ve learned the importance of prioritizing and being present. Every moment is precious, whether I’m on set or at home with my family.
