Lady Gaga’s Jaw-Dropping Silence: The Real Reason She’s Letting Those Man Rumors Swirl
Lady Gaga Opens Up About Long-Standing Rumors
Lady Gaga, the renowned pop star and Hollywood actress, has finally addressed the long-standing rumors surrounding her identity. In a recent interview with Bill Gates for the Netflix series “What’s Next?”, Gaga shared her thoughts on the speculation that has followed her for years.
Gaga began by recalling the early days of her career, when she was in her early 20s and rumors started circulating that she was a man. She explained that during her world tours and album promotions, she was frequently asked about these rumors in interviews. The interviewers would often present her with doctored images from the internet, asking for her response to the claims.
Gaga revealed that she chose not to address the rumors at the time, stating, “I didn’t want to be the victim of such lies.” She also expressed concern for the potential impact on her young fans, saying, “If a celebrity like me is ashamed, what about a child who is subject to the same suspicion?”
Gaga also noted that she has been in situations where correcting rumors was not in the best interest of others, and instead, she tried to stimulate thought in other ways. She has grown accustomed to dealing with false information about herself, saying, “I’ve been used to lies being published about me since I was 20. I’m an actress. I find it funny.”
In a 2011 interview with CNN, Gaga was asked about the rumors, and she responded with her characteristic wit, saying, “That could be true. Would that be terrible?” When the host pointed out that other celebrities would have issued a statement denying the rumors, Gaga replied, “Why do I have to waste my time releasing information about my genitals? My fans don’t care about that. Neither do I.”
