Lambourn,with Ryan Moore⁢ aboard,surged to victory in the Chester Vase Stakes,a notable ⁤trial for the upcoming ​Epsom Derby. The 11-8 favorite overcame ​a third-place position entering the final stretch to win by 1 1/2 lengths.This Epsom Derby trial showcased Lambourn’s stamina and determination.

Lazy Griff finished second, followed by Convergent in third. The chester Vase Stakes ⁣ win marks ⁣a record-extending ‌11th victory in the race for trainer​ Aidan O’Brien.
