Lana Del Rey Joins Indie Band On Stage for surprise Performance of ‘Ultraviolence’
Lana Del Rey had a spontaneous moment recently, joining indie band The Fastest Kids In School on stage during their performance at Institution. The band was playing a cover of Del Rey’s song “Ultraviolence” when the singer, who happened to be walking nearby, approached them and asked to join in.
The band shared footage of the collaboration on their Instagram, calling it a “show we’ll never forget!” Dan Grimes of The Fastest Kids In School described the moment as unforgettable, revealing Del Rey was simply “out getting some ice cream” when she heard them playing her song.
Meanwhile, Del Rey is currently preparing to release her next album, which has undergone several title and release date changes. Initially planned as ‘Lasso’ for May 2025, it was then renamed ‘the right Person Will Stay’ and pushed to September. Most recently, she announced the album will now be titled ‘Stove’ and is slated for release at the end of January 2026. While initially reported to be a country-focused album, Del Rey has as explained the delay and evolving direction of the project.
