Langschwager Dominates NCAA West Regional XC: Highlights & Results
COLFAX, Wash. – Emilie Kirk Langschwager led the University of Hawai’i Rainbow Wahine cross country team at the NCAA West Regionals with a 26th-place team finish.
Kirk Langschwager finished 57th in the 6k race, clocking a time of 20:53.1. This is the best finish for a Hawai’i runner at a regional meet since Camille Campos placed 36th in 2016. Kirk Langschwager also led the team last year, finishing 71st as a freshman.
The Rainbow Wahine achieved their best team finish at the NCAA Regionals since 2016, improving their performance for three consecutive years.
Sariah Hernandez followed Kirk Langschwager, finishing 118th with a time of 21:45.9. Gemma Warman came in 158th at 22:12.2. Zola O’Donnell finished 189th with a time of 22:26.3. Lucy Becker, in her first appearance in the team’s top five, placed 216th with a time of 22:50.7. Kira Moe finished in 246th place at 23:44.7. Lucy Milliner did not finish the race.
