A‍ three-wide situation in the Coca-Cola 600 resulted in a critically important‌ wreck ‍involving Kyle Larson, Ryan Blaney, and Daniel Suarez. The incident occurred as the⁢ drivers exited Turn 4 during the race’s third stage.

Suarez spun across Chase Briscoe’s path and collided with Blaney. Both⁣ Suarez‍ and Blaney hit ⁢the outside wall. Suarez then spun ‍back onto the track, collecting Justin haley and Larson. The crash forced Larson, Suarez and Blaney out of the race, while Haley continued.

This marked Larson’s second crash of ⁢the day, after an earlier incident at the Indy 500. Larson, ⁤driving for Hendrick Motorsports, had hoped for redemption at ⁤Charlotte Motor⁢ Speedway after crashing out of the Indy 500.He led early but ⁤spun out in ​the first stage after ​hitting the ⁤wall.

The ⁣Hendrick Motorsports team repaired the car, and Larson had ⁣worked his​ way back into the top 20 before the Lap 246 incident. He completed approximately 599 of the planned 1,100 miles on Sunday.
