Soloman Tremain White was convicted by a federal jury of two armed robberies, brandishing a firearm during crimes of violence, and unlawful possession of a firearm following felony convictions in Clark County, Nevada. The federal jury returned its verdict following a two-day trial after deliberating for approximately one hour. United States District Judge Cristina D. Silva scheduled White’s sentencing for January 11, 2027.
April 2025 Store and Sandwich Shop Robberies
Court documents and trial evidence established that White entered a store on April 18, 2025, brandished a Sig Sauer P365 9mm semiautomatic pistol, stole money, and fled. The following day, on April 19, 2025, White entered a sandwich shop, brandished a 9mm semiautomatic pistol, and again fled with stolen money. At the conclusion of the two-day court proceedings, the federal jury convicted White on three counts of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm, two counts of brandishing a firearm during and in connection with a violent crime, and two counts of interfering with commerce through robbery.
Prior Felony Record and Firearms Prohibition
White has prior felony convictions in Clark County, Nevada, which include attempted grand larceny and voluntary manslaughter. Because of these prior felony convictions, White is legally prohibited from possessing a firearm. Law enforcement agencies involved in investigating the case included the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Assistant United States Attorneys in the District of Nevada prosecuted the case.

“Law-abiding citizens should never have to experience the terror of having a firearm pointed at them,” said Special Agent in Charge Christopher S. Delzotto for the FBI Las Vegas Field Office. “These armed robberies were bold and brazen, and we are fortunate they ended without injury before the suspect fled.”

White faces a maximum statutory penalty of life imprisonment alongside a mandatory minimum sentence of 14 years of confinement.
