The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of an armed man barricaded in a home on Gleason Street in East Los Angeles on Saturday. This incident occurred around 12:40 p.m.

The LASD Special Enforcement Bureau took tactical command of the situation. Their Crisis Negotiation Team attempted to contact the man inside. The goal was to resolve the situation peacefully.
