Ahmed Kaoud died after battling illness

Artist Ahmed Kaoud fell ill
The late cartoonist Ahmed Kaoud struggled with his illness for many years, as he suffered from autoimmune myositis, the monster he fought in the wrestling ring, although the disease affected his movements from doing many things, including many appearances. … According to Morsi, he said: “Personally, he was very respectful and had no side problems, only work, painting and art, and he was a fighter against his illness, which prevented him from doing many things, but he kept his art for a long time and we wanted to have more exhibitions with him.” But he was walking with difficulty, and we tried to contact him, but the madam replied that he was well and would not let him go down, but that his house was too much away.”
Ahmed Kaoud follows all local and international events
Until the last moment, Ahmed Kaoud followed the events first-hand and drew on his mind and his opinions, as he supported the Palestinian cause in multiple works: “He was a keen follower of events on a daily basis, he drew on the Palestinian issue, and was one of the Eighth International Cartoon Forum Worked on the exhibition, which featured the paintings of Samir Ghanem and the artist Dalal Abdel Aziz. He also held an exhibition on the days of the revolution.
