According to Metro, the transit center will serve as a multimodal hub along the K Line, enhancing access between Redondo Beach and the E (Expo) Line station at Crenshaw Boulevard. With the opening of the new station, the K Line will extend south from Westchester to Redondo Beach. The Metro C Line (Green), currently running between Redondo Beach and Norwalk, will shift its route to operate between Norwalk and a new Aviation/Century station, located south of the airport.
