LCU Announces 2026 Homecoming Dates & Events | Lubbock Christian University

Lubbock Christian University (LCU) is gearing up for its 2026 Homecoming weekend, a three-day event scheduled from February 12 to February 14, designed to reconnect alumni, engage families and celebrate the Lubbock community.

The festivities will kick off with the crowning of the 2026 Homecoming King and Queen during the Chap basketball game on Thursday evening, February 12. The Lady Chap basketball team will also be in action that evening. Saturday’s men’s basketball game will feature a special halftime recognition honoring the Lady Chap’s 2016 National Championship team, marking a decade since their historic win.

Beyond the athletic events, a cornerstone of LCU’s Homecoming is the return of the Homecoming 5K Run/Walk. This year, the event carries added significance as proceeds will directly support student scholarships, offering a tangible way for participants to invest in the next generation of LCU students.

A highlight of the weekend promises to be Master Follies, LCU’s signature student-led variety show. This year’s theme, “Flashback Fever: From Vinyl to Viral,” will see the university’s men’s and women’s social clubs competing in a musical production competition. Student performers will not only showcase original musical presentations but will also emcee the shows, which are described as featuring choreographed numbers with humorous lyrics. Three performances are scheduled: Friday, February 13 at 8 p.m., and Saturday, February 14 at both 3 p.m. And 8 p.m.

Tickets for Master Follies are currently available, with pricing varying by performance. Friday’s 8 p.m. Show and Saturday’s 3 p.m. Matinee are priced at $20 each, while tickets for Saturday’s 8 p.m. Performance are $25. The event will be held at McDonald Moody Auditorium on the LCU campus.
