Lebanon​ Beeper Explosion: Golden Apollo Company Under Investigation

Explosion Attracts International Attention

The remains of the beeper were traced to Taiwan’s “Golden Apollo Company”. Yesterday, the Shilin District Prosecutor’s Office searched and interviewed Xu Qingguang, the person in charge of the company, to investigate whether the whole ⁤case endangered national security.

Xu explained that the pager is ⁤a‌ trademark authorized product and was not ⁢made in Taiwan. After an hour‍ of questioning late⁣ at night, the identity of the⁤ witness⁤ was confirmed, and ⁣Xu was asked to return without bail.

Investigation Underway

The Shilin District ⁢Prosecutor’s Office investigated the case and searched the company’s offices, seizing relevant authorization‌ contracts, account books, and records related to import‌ and export.

Another witness ⁢in the case, Teresa Wu Yuzhen, was interviewed ​and ⁣re-heard yesterday, but ‍she was also asked‍ to return without bail. BAC company has a commercial cooperation with Golden‌ Apollo Company, and Wu is the point of contact for ‌BAC Company’s office in ⁣Taiwan.
