Guangzhou Film Expo: Yongsheng Animation Showcases Eastern Legends Series

The Guangzhou Film Industry Expo and Trade Fair, held from September 27th to 29th, brought together over 200 exhibitors, including Yongsheng Animation, a prominent local Chinese comic film label. The expo featured three major exhibition areas: film theme, film technology, and film derivative industry.

During the expo, Yongsheng Animation promoted its new films, including “Phoenix and Me”, “Pig Man”, and “School Bus”. Huang Long, general manager of the film division, announced that “Phoenix and Me” is currently in production and expected to be released in 2027. This film is part of the Eastern Legend series, which has gained significant attention in the Chinese comic film market.

Yongsheng Animation has strengthened its exploration of traditional Chinese culture, launching a series of Chinese comic films, including “Falling World”, which became the highest-rated Chinese comic film in the summer season. The company aims to promote Chinese culture globally through its original animation.

At the expo, Yongsheng Animation also showcased its derivative products, covering 12 industries, including toys, publications, and theme parks, with an annual retail market value exceeding 5 billion yuan. The company aims to continue innovating animation content and technology, exploring traditional cultural themes, and creating digital animation products that resonate with global audiences.
