Takashi Kako Celebrates 50 Years of Musical Excellence
Takashi Kako, a renowned composer and pianist, marked a significant milestone in 2023 – the 50th anniversary of his debut in France. To commemorate this occasion, the “Takashi Kako 50th Anniversary Concert” was held, and it will be broadcast on BS Asahi.
This is a unique opportunity to experience the beautiful tones of the “poet of the piano” and the “painter of the piano” in piano solo and quartet performances. Takashi Kako’s music is a testament to his exceptional talent and dedication to his craft.
In addition to the broadcast, Takashi Kako will embark on a concert tour in October 2024, titled “Takashi Kako Concert: A Journey Through the Galaxy – Kenji Miyazawa and Me.” The tour will be divided into two parts: Part 1: “Solo & Quartet – Is Paris Burning?” and Part 2: “Music Heard from Kenji.” This tour promises to be an unforgettable experience, showcasing the charms of Takashi Kako’s work spanning 50 years.
