The great producer, Mohamed El-Adal, has mourned the death of screenwriter Atef Beshai, who passed away on Friday evening after a long battle with illness.
Al-Adl wrote via his official Facebook account: “Farewell, Atef Beshay, wonderful scriptwriter and most wonderful friend.”
Atef Bishai is an Egyptian writer and screenwriter with many works in cinema and television, during which he collaborated with some of Egypt’s most prominent stars and filmmakers and playwrights during a busy artistic career.
Despite a career full of successful work, Atef has been away from the artistic scene for many years, more than 15 years since his last work, the series “The Merchant of Happiness” starring the late star Khaled Saleh, artist Dalia Mostafa. , and artist Hala Fakhr, which was shown in 2009.
Regarding the reason for his absence, he said in the previous statement of “Masrawi” that he is not the only one of his generation who does not work, because they are not taken care of, although he actually has many situations that he finished writing a long time ago and hopes that They will come to light, insisting that he comes from a generation he is still able to give, and should take advantage of their artistic maturity.
Atef Bishai’s most famous works include: the series “No”, the series “The Flood”, the movie “Fawzia Bourgeois”, the movie “The Trial of Ali Baba”, the series “The Yakubian Building”, the movie “And I forgot that I am a Women”, movie “Personal Status”, series “The Second Meeting”, “Her Majesty’s Tears” series, “Men of the World Unite” series, “Women are Coming” series.
