Lei Jun Spills the Beans: Xiaomi’s ‘Are You OK’ Valve Core Cap Design Sparks Controversy – Here’s the Truth
Xiaomi’s ”Are You OK” Valve Cap: A Collaboration with Uncle Lie
Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun recently launched a new product, the “Are You OK” valve cap, which has gained popularity online. The product is sold at 29.9 yuan (2 pieces) and is currently on sale on the Xiaomi Auto app.
Lei Jun released a video showing the effect of installing the valve cap on the Xiaomi SU7. He also asked everyone: “Is this valve cap okay to match the Xiaomi SU7 lava orange?”
Lei Jun said that some people said they had seen similar projects online, and they were all right. We contacted the designer Uncle Lie (Boundless Living Room-Uncle Lie) and purchased his copyright to make it.

Lei Jun also invites the most talented designers to contact Xiaomi to design some interesting products together.
Uncle Lie posted on Weibo, saying that “Xiaomi Life valve core cap (Are you OK manual version) has been officially authorized by me and is not plagiarized. All current uses are in line with our cooperation agreement.”

Uncle Lie said that this collaboration is a good thing for him and Xiaomi. He hopes that his works will be seen, known and loved by more people.
It is reported that “Are you OK” is Lei Jun’s “famous work”. At the Xiaomi 4i launch conference in India in 2015, Lei Jun temporarily took the stage to greet the audience with “Are you OK”.

It was later re-edited into a MAD song by Mr. Lemon, the UP maestro of Station B, and the magical tune exploded on the Internet.
