Leicester City ⁣ goalkeeper Mads Hermansen is set for a scan after being substituted at halftime during the Foxes’ 2-0 loss to Newcastle United on ⁣Saturday.The Danish shot-stopper appeared ⁣to be⁤ struggling ⁣with a leg injury in the first half and was replaced by Jakub Stolarczyk at the break. Manager Ruud van Nistelrooy confirmed​ the injury after the match, stating that Hermansen’s condition would⁢ be assessed further.

“Mads felt something in his ‌leg and we decided to take him off as a precaution,” Van Nistelrooy said. “He will have a scan to determine the extent of‍ the injury.”
