NewsDirect3.com Exclusive Interview with Bundesliga Expert Simon Muller
ND3: Simon, another tough loss for Frankfurt, despite Omar Marmoush’s impressive performance. What are your takeaways from teh Leipzig match?
SM: this was a classic Bundesliga battle, end-to-end action, and both teams leaving everything on the pitch. Marmoush, as always, was a bright spark for Frankfurt. He’s been phenomenal this season, but sadly, his brilliance wasn’t enough to overcome a very determined Leipzig side.
ND3: Frankfurt’s recent form has been a bit shaky. Is there cause for concern amongst the Frankfurt faithful?
SM: Definitely. Frankfurt are struggling to find consistency. they’ve tasted defeat in both the Bundesliga and Europa League recently, and that German Cup exit to Leipzig must have stung.
ND3: Marmoush is attracting interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs. Do you see him moving on from Frankfurt in the near future?
SM: It wouldn’t surprise me at all. Marmoush is a top-quality player with a huge upside. If he keeps performing at this level, I fully expect to see him challenging for titles at a top European club within the next couple of years.
