Netmarble Obtains ISO 45001 Certification, First in Domestic Gaming Industry
Netmarble announced on the 27th that it has obtained the ’Safety and Health Management System (ISO 45001)’ certification for the first time in the domestic gaming industry.
‘ISO 45001’ is an international standard certification for safety and health management established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). This certification is granted to companies with a systematic management system to create a safe working environment, including efficient prevention of industrial accidents.
Netmarble acquired ‘ISO 45001’ by inspecting the safety and health management system of online and mobile game software development and publishing services based on the standards of the International Organization for Standardization.
Netmarble previously obtained the same certification for its new headquarters, G Tower, in April 2022. With this additional certification, the company plans to proactively spread the atmosphere of creating a safe working environment within the domestic gaming industry.
To realize sustainable management, Netmarble has published a total of four ESG reports since establishing the ‘ESG Management Committee’ in 2021. The company converted the ‘ESG Committee’ to a committee under the board of directors last year and has been actively carrying out various ESG management activities.
