Unlocking a New Mode of Youth Friendship through Script Killing

On September 21, China Railway Fourth Engineering Bureau Construction Company and Heyedi Street, Shushan District, Hefei City, jointly hosted a unique youth worker friendship event called “Building Dreams with Concrete Hearts and Love in the Future” at the Chaohu China Railway Baihe Baile Hotel.

This innovative event brought together nearly 50 single young people from various county-level agencies, townships, enterprises, institutions, and schools. Unlike traditional dating events, it incorporated the popular script-killing plot among young people, allowing participants to engage in immersive interactions and love-telling sessions.

Immersive Script-Killing Activity

The script-killing activity, called “Chang’an Happy Event,” enabled single young men and women to immerse themselves in the characters’ joys, sorrows, anger, and life emotions through reading the script, plot interpretation, reasoning, and thinking. Participants communicated with each other, had in-depth conversations, and dug out clues, narrowing the distance in fun and immersion.

According to their own role background, participants worked in pairs to tackle tasks, some even wearing Hanfu for a more immersive experience. This innovative approach allowed them to gain friendship through brave exploration and wisdom contests.

A New Way to Make Friends and Fall in Love

Liu Xingang, a 27-year-old young man from China Railway Fourth Engineering Bureau Construction Company, shared his experience: “The immersive plot and role-playing allowed me to put aside my worries and make friends more easily. During the game, I met a friend who is full of wisdom and courage.”

After the game, the nearly 50 single young people had gotten to know each other to a certain extent. In the “Say Your Love” session, a total of 7 young men bravely walked onto the stage, shouted out the names of the girls they liked, and made true confessions of their love.

Building a Platform for Social Connections

Wu Fan, secretary of the Youth League Committee of China Railway Fourth Engineering Bureau Construction Company, emphasized the importance of innovative social activities: “These events have built a platform for single young men and women to get to know each other and fall in love, helping single young people solve the problem of being busy at work and having limited social circles.”

By enhancing the cohesion and centripetal force of employees, these events also foster a sense of belonging to the company. As a result, they provide a unique opportunity for young people to connect, make friends, and potentially find love.
