Levi’s Japan and Barbour Launch Limited Edition Re-Loved Capsule Collection
Levi’s Japan and British heritage brand Barbour have teamed up for an ultra-limited Re-Loved capsule collection, which merges vintage 501 jeans with classic wax jacket fabrics. According to Hypebeast, the collaboration serves as part of a weekly drop lineup highlighting distinct apparel partnerships across the global fashion market.
The collection repurposes pre-owned Levi’s 501 jeans, incorporating signature Barbour waxed cotton panels and corduroy details into the denim. Each garment is handled individually, resulting in distinct patchwork constructions and mixed-media finishes that reflect both brands’ manufacturing histories.
Barbour’s traditional weather-resistant textiles, typically utilized for outdoor outerwear like the Bedale and Beaufort jackets, provide a contrasting texture against the heavy-weight blue denim. The resulting trousers and jackets bridge American workwear heritage with British country apparel traditions.
Availability for the capsule is strictly limited, with distribution handled through select retail channels in Japan. Neither brand has announced plans for a broader international rollout as of September 2026.
