On July 31, 2025, FC Zurich made an initial offer of €600,000, which Levski Sofia turned down. At that time, the club’s management demanded a minimum of €1 million along with a sell-on percentage.

Tensions escalated further in September 2025 when the Tunisian club Espérance Sportive de Tunis tabled an offer worth €1.5 million. Levski Sofia categorically refused the bid, leading to a standoff between the 26-year-old forward and the club’s management.

In an attempt to force the move to Tunisia, Sangare responded to the blocked transfer by refusing to train with the team. This period of friction signaled a growing rift, as the player had previously been encouraged to seek an exit earlier in the summer of 2025.
