“Taipei” is the first Hollywood action film shot entirely in Taiwan, written and produced by “billion-dollar box office director” Lu Besson. The cast includes Luke George Evans, Korean actor Kang Sung-ho, and director-actress Gwee Lun-mei, among others. Li Peixu plays the role of the villain’s guard in the film, with his strong figure, special facial tattoos, and menacing look in the trailer generating significant discussion.
