In the golden autumn season, a visual feast is about to begin in Beijing.
To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the “Light and Shadow China Dream Economic Construction News Photo Exhibition” sponsored by the China Industry Newspaper Association and carefully planned by the News Photography Professional Committee of the China Industry Newspaper Association will be held from September 10 to October 10 in the bright light and shadow of the terminal building of Beijing Daxing International Airport. This exhibition, with the lens as the pen and light and shadow as the ink, tells the story of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, especially the brilliant achievements made by all walks of life under the leadership of the Party since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. It is a vivid historical scroll.
Zhang Chaowen, president of the China Industry Newspaper Association, said that the exhibition aims to vividly show the magnificent development process of New China’s economic construction through the unique perspective of industry media news photography, especially the remarkable achievements made in various industries since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. This is not only an affectionate look back at the past glory, but also a firm prospect for the future high-quality development path, aiming to inspire the whole society to unite and work together to write a new chapter in the new era.
The exhibition was full of highlights. With the active participation of 69 member units of the China Industry Newspaper Association, a total of 1,065 selected news photos were brought together. After strict screening, 320 wonderful photos and 20 news photography pages stood out. These photos covered transportation and construction, electric power grid, petroleum and petrochemicals, law enforcement and justice, finance and consumption, resources and metallurgy, aerospace and military industry, culture, sports and health, etc., fully showing the magnificent picture of China’s economic construction.
This exhibition adheres to the principle of keeping the truth and making innovations, and strives to present news photography works with depth, warmth and strength. There are four highlights in this exhibition that are particularly eye-catching: first, the exhibition is large-scale, bringing a strong visual impact to the audience; second, the content is extensive and diverse, showing the brilliant achievements of economic construction since the founding of New China in all aspects; third, the image quality is excellent, and each work has been carefully selected and polished; fourth, the social impact is far-reaching, and the exhibition inspires the enthusiasm of the whole people to love the motherland and build the Chinese dream together.
