What Happened?

Rapper Lil Nas X was arrested‍ early Thursday morning in Los Angeles following‍ an ‍incident involving police‌ officers. According ‌to reports from CNN and‍ NBC News, ‌the artist allegedly​ charged at responding officers after they received reports of a‍ nearly naked​ man walking along ⁢Ventura Boulevard in ‌Studio City.

Prior to the arrest, footage published by TMZ showed Lil⁢ Nas X walking down Ventura boulevard wearing ​only underwear and cowboy boots, inviting a passerby to⁣ a party and requesting⁢ they lower ⁤their phone.

Following⁤ the altercation,​ Lil Nas⁣ X was taken ‍to a local hospital for a possible overdose. He was subsequently placed under arrest for battery on a police officer and is currently ⁣being ‌held at the Valley⁣ Jail ⁤in van ​Nuys, as confirmed by CNN.
