Rapper Lil Nas X was arrested early Thursday morning in Los Angeles following an incident involving police officers. According to reports from CNN and NBC News, the artist allegedly charged at responding officers after they received reports of a nearly naked man walking along Ventura Boulevard in Studio City.
Prior to the arrest, footage published by TMZ showed Lil Nas X walking down Ventura boulevard wearing only underwear and cowboy boots, inviting a passerby to a party and requesting they lower their phone.
Following the altercation, Lil Nas X was taken to a local hospital for a possible overdose. He was subsequently placed under arrest for battery on a police officer and is currently being held at the Valley Jail in van Nuys, as confirmed by CNN.
