Lille Grand Palais posted a positive financial result of 538,000 euros in 2025-2026 alongside 24.7 million euros in revenue and 976,000 visitors, reversing a deficit from the previous season according to reporting from Actu. The complex hosted 320 events across the period, driven by international conventions and live entertainment at the Zénith de Lille.
Lille Grand Palais Rebounds With 24.7 Million Euros in Revenue
The venue’s revenue grew by 2.7 percent, surpassing budget forecasts and returning to profitability after a deficit during the 2024-2025 term, Actu reported. Caroline Souppart, director general of Lille Grand Palais since November 2025, noted that the figures demonstrate the resilience of an economic model anchored in professional conventions, theatrical shows, and internally produced events. Total visitor volume climbed from more than 850,000 to 976,000, with 370,000 visitors at Lille Grand Palais proper and 606,000 at the Zénith.
Franck Hanoh, president of Lille Grand Palais and deputy mayor of Lille, stated that the financial gains serve as a mechanism to invest rather than absorb market shifts.
International Congresses and Zénith Attendance Drive Regional Impact
On the international front, fourteen professional events have been secured or completed, including the European Veterinary Dermatology Congress, the European Geriatric Medicine Society gathering, and the European Cystic Fibrosis Conference scheduled for June 2027.
Live entertainment complemented the convention schedule. The Zénith de Lille staged 152 performances during the season, up from 135 a year earlier, while the Lille Grand Palais theatres added 44 sessions for a combined total of 196 representations.
Parking Construction and the Odyssée 2030 Strategic Plan
To support its long-term strategy, Lille Grand Palais advanced its Odyssée 2030 plan, which aims for 25 million euros in revenue by 2030 through new market entry, infrastructure upgrades, and internal operational performance. As part of these efforts, the facility partnered with Totem and major telecom operators to deploy a dedicated 4G and 5G mobile network across the complex using 39 shared antennas.
Physical infrastructure is also expanding. The parking facility will provide direct access to the expressway and exhibition halls, though 80 percent of professional parking capacity will be temporarily suspended during the build.

Timeline of Upcoming Events and 2027 Construction Disruptions
Construction on the new parking garage is scheduled to begin in March 2027 and conclude in the first quarter of 2028, with the London Hall and auxiliary outdoor areas utilized to offset temporary space shortages. Despite expected operational disruptions during the construction window, management continues preparations for several incoming cultural and sporting projects.
The calendar includes the launch of L’Œuforie
, a culinary festival dedicated to egg dishes featuring a regional stop of the World Mayonnaise Egg Championship on October 17 and 18, 2026. In April 2027, the venue will host Play On
, a newly developed indoor multisport tournament spanning over 10,000 square meters.
Questions remain regarding how severely the temporary loss of parking capacity during the 2027 construction period will impact professional exhibitor attendance and overall annual revenue before the 2028 completion date.
